The EM-Tec conductive pen enables writing conductive tracks, traces and lines on non-conductive materials. Ideal for making conductive paths for SEM samples, making visible marking on SEM samples, repairing defective tracks on circuits or for prototyping. The ink in the microtip pen is filled with either silver, nickel or carbon polymer which exhibits excellent adhesion properties on most materials. The conductive traces dry fast and conductivity is achieved when the ink is cured. The conductive traces can be used on flexible substrates. The cured traces can be easily removed with acetone
Features and benefits:
There is a choice of three materials for the EM-Tec conductive pens:
1 – EM-Tec AG20 silver conductive micro-tip pen with silver filled ink for best results. Makes excellent conductive traces and highly visible markings on SEM samples
2 – EM-Tec NI20 nickel conductive micro-tip pen with nickel filled ink for less demanding applications to make conductive traces and visible markings on SEM samples
3 – EM-Tec C20 carbon conductive micro-tip pen with carbon filled ink is a cost-effective option to make conductive traces and conductive markings on SEM samples
Instructions for use:
Although the silver ink has been formulated to resist hard-packing, it is recommend to shake well before use until the ball inside freely moves inside. Hold pen at an angle and depress tip against surface; draw pen across surface while gently squeezing the barrel of the pen. Clean tip, replace can and store with the tip up after use. Let dry 1 minute before handling or het cure.
