The EM-Tec pin stub adapters to M4 thread comprise of a pin with an M4 threaded head. With the EM-Tec pin stub adapters, any EM-Tec sample holder or stub with an M4 threaded hole can be used on SEMs which accept pin stubs. This enables using the EM-Tec SEM sample holders across multiple SEM platforms. There are three different lengths for the EM-Tec pin stub adapters to M4 thread:

• Standard pin stub adapter to M4 thread, 9.5mm long pin, compatible with TFS, FEI, Philips, Tescan, Phenom, CamScan, Cambridge Instruments, Leica, AmRay, RJLee and Aspex SEMs
• Short Zeiss pin stub adapter to M4 thread, 6mm short pin, compatible with Zeiss and LEO SEMs, FESEMs, CrossBeam and FIB-SEM systems
• Long pin stub adapter to M4 thread, 19mm long pin, compatible with AMRay SEMs and Keysight tabletop SEMs
