1 - EM-Tec SEM sample holders for the Phenom Pure, Pro and ProX desk top microscopes:
The EM-Tec sample holders presented on this page are compatible with the standard Phenom sample holder used in the Phenom Prox, Pro and Pure. With dedicated EM-Tec sample holders, tilt can be added to sample movements. Furthermore, samples can be held without the use of adhesives.

2 – Sample holders for the Phenom metallurgical holders used in the Phenom Pure, Pro and ProX
The Phenom metallurgical sample holder and charge reduction metallurgical sample holders are compatible with 32mm metallographic mounts; this cover the 30mm and the 1-1/4” (32mm) metallographic mounts. A range of sample holders have been specifically designed to make more use of the Phenom metallurgical holders and to extend the range of samples which can be examined.

3 – EM-Tec PH6 XL mounting pillar and additional sample holders for the Phenom XL
The Phenom XL desk top SEM with the large stage has a capacity of 100x100x65mm (L x W x H). The unique pin plate allows for either large sample, multiple samples and large sample holders with pin. Alternatively, the unique XL mounting pillars can be used to clamp samples between the mounting pillar. The XL mounting pillars can be freely positioned in the XL pin plate to accommodate large, awkward and even multiple samples. The XL mounting pillar are sold in sets of three and consists of the pin plate compatible pillars with standard 3.2mm pin and M3 threaded holes and 16mm long M3 threaded thumb screws. Alternatively, other M3 threaded screws can be used to hold a sample. Each XL pillar has two threaded holes for added versatility.

EM-Tec TV12 mini variable tilt mount allows 0-90° angle in a small sample mount. The sample needs to be mounted on the tilting platform of this compact holder. Side engravings on the tilting platform assist in setting the desired tilt angle. Practical holder to examine sample under an angle.

EM-Tec PS15 swivel pin stub mount. The head of the mount is attached to the pin via a swivel hinge which allows for 90 degrees tilting each way. Excellent mount for SEMs without tilting facilities or when random tilt angled are needed. When the desired tilt angle is set, the top is secured with a socket cap screw. Phenom PHF32 filter holder kit to examine paper or plastic filters with the Phenom Pure, Pro and ProX table top SEMs. Fully compatible with the Phenom metallurgical sample holder and the Phenom charge reduction metallurgical sample holder. The Phenom PHF32 consists of a flat Ø32x0.5mm aluminium washer with an opening size of Ø22mm and a Ø32x10mm aluminium stub. The filter is to be placed between the washer and the stub and then loaded into the Phenom metallurgical holder for examination.

Phenom PHA32 adapter ring which enables the examination of Ø25mm or 1” metallographic or petrographic mounts in the Phenom metallurgical holder. Phenom PH22 bulk sample holder has been designed to hold awkwardly shaped samples up to a diameter of 22mm and a height of 12mm. Screws through the three posts holds the sample; with a screw in the base, the sample height can be adjusted. Several lengths of screws are supplied to cover the complete sample holding area while at the same time keeping the total maximum diameter within 32mm. Fully compatible with the Phenom metallurgical holders.
